Pre-Order a Split-Half Steer (Deposit)

Order a quarter/split-half steer for yourself or to share with your friends and family.

All of our beef is dry-aged for at least two weeks to achieve maximum flavor and tenderness. All steaks are cut to a thickness of approximately 1-1.25 in.

With a split-half steer, you will receive approximately 80-90 pounds of beef. You will need 3-5 cubic feet of freezer space to store a split-half steer.

 

With this round of orders, you can expect to receive the following from a split-half steer:

New York Strips & Filets

Delmonico (Boneless) Rib Steaks

Various Steaks

Chuck Roast

Brisket

Various Roasts

Short Ribs

Stew Cubes

Soup Bones

Ground Beef

 

Split-Half Steer Orders are priced at $7.45/lb and are based on the hanging weight of the steer. This price includes all butchering,freezing and wrapping fees, as well as transportation from the processor back to the farm.

 

Final prices and hanging weights will be provided about one week after processing begins. 

Final order weights may be estimated as approximately 60% of the hanging weight.

 

To hold your order, we require a $200 non-refundable deposit due upon check out. This amount will be credited towards your final price.

Final payments will be due prior to pick-up.

  • PRODUCT INFO

    All orders contain dry-aged cuts of beef that are:

    • USDA Inspected
    • Individually vacuum sealed
    • Labeled
    • Frozen
  • ORDER PICK-UP

    At this time, we require that all split-half steer orders be picked up from the farm at 17821 Clagett Landing Rd, Upper Marlboro, MD 20774

    Pick-up dates will be provided via email about one week after processing begins.  

    If you are unable to pick up your order on the date provided, you will be charged an additional fee of $20/day to store your order. 

  • AVAILABILITY

     Will be available for pick up at the farm end of July 2024.
